The Trussell Trust runs the largest network of food banks in the UK, giving emergency food and support to people in crisis. Fourteen million people live below the poverty line and in the last year 1,9 million three-day emergency food supplies were distributed to people in crisis.
We had a very proud moment before Christmas when our Foodbank Project Manager, Jacqui White received her MBE from Buckingham Palace. She was awarded the medal for services to charity and to vulnerable people in Cornwall by Prince William with her family there at the Palace.
