Due to the current trading restrictions of this third lockdown, we have had to delay the long-awaited re-opening of our StoreHouse project. We assure you that we are as keen as you are to get this back up and running again, and have sorely missed being able to run it over the past few years due to the size of our premises. But, never fear, there isn’t long to wait now!
StoreHouse will allow us to take good quality, donated furniture and household items (bedding, crockery and cutlery, cooking equipment etc) from the local community and donate it, completely free of charge, to local people in crisis need referred to us by our network of over 90 partner agencies. We will also be selling some of it in our shop, which will pay our bills and keep our doors open, meeting the needs of those in our community that need us the most.
If you have furniture that you would like to donate, we will let you know as soon as we are open and able to take donations again!
If you are a professional agency and would like to access furniture or household items for someone that you work with, please do get in touch. We are not fully operational yet, but can help if needed in a crisis!
Work with local people but not yet signed up to be a referrer? Give us a call or drop us a line. We work with over 90 local organisations that include voluntary groups, doctors surgeries, schools, churches, adult and child social care, council teams and more.
